Campo de Cahuenga makes history once again as we welcome the “Flame of Hope” on its final leg to the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics World Games.  Los Angeles Councilman Paul Krekorian and other dignitaries, celebrity characters (some very mini ones from across the street!), California fiesta dancers, music-makers and well wishers will all be on hand to welcome and celebrate the runners and their escorts on this historic occasion. Our gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 23, with arrival of the torch at 4:20 p.m. Parking will be limited, so we recommend public transit which is convenient to The Campo.
